Angel Ivey Garner was born on December 18, 1970 in Bastrop, Louisiana, the daughter of Suisen Marie White and the late Gerald Lynn Ivey.
On June 12, 1999, she was united in marriage to Scott Garner, who survives.
Angel worked as a nurse for 34 years. She was the school nurse at Northside Elementary School for 15 years. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved baseball, especially watching her son from T-ball through his collegiate career at University of Memphis. She also enjoyed nature trails with close friends. Her most recent joy was becoming “Granna” to her first granddaughter, Ivey Claire Duncan. Angel was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
Angel Ivey Garner departed this life on June 5, 2026 at her home in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 55 years, 5 months, and 18 days.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Garner; daughter, Sydney Garner Duncan; son, Seth Garner; mother, Suisen Marie White; stepmother, Diane Ivey; sister, Annice White; brother, Allen White; and granddaughter, Ivey Duncan.
