Patsy Jean Allen Whitlow, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at her home in Arab, Alabama on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Beulah Hall Allen and Archie L Allen, her brother Jerry Allen, and her beloved husband of 58 years, Maurice Whitlow.
She is survived by her sons Stewart Whitlow (Lisa) of Arab, and Mark Whitlow (Jenny) of Guntersville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Blake Whitlow (Tyra), Erin Thomas (Austin), John William Whitlow, Clark Whitlow and Ashlyn Whitlow, her great-grandchildren, Adeline Whitlow, Brooks Yarbrough, Judson Thomas, Dathan Whitlow, Delancey Whitlow, Darcey Whitlow, Daxton Whitlow and Declan Whitlow.
Patsy was a devoted Christian who enjoyed spending time with her church family/friends and most of all, her family. She loved deeply and was a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Patsy was a long-time member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church where she attended the Larry Cruise Sunday School Class for many years. Patsy loved her church and Sunday School class family very much.
Visitation will be held at Gilliam Springs Baptist Church, Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, from 11:00am – 12:30pm. A graveside service will follow, with Jamey Pruett presiding, at Gilliam Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:00pm.

Pallbearers will be John William Whitlow, Clark Whitlow, Austin Thomas, and Earl Talley Jr.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gilliam Springs Baptist Church Missions in memory of Patsy Whitlow.
