John was a resident of Tanner, Alabama.John is survived by his wife: Patty Sandy, 1 Son: Scott Sandy (Kelli), 1 daughter: Jada Thomas (Matt), 1 Step Son: Johnny Childers, 6 Grandchildren: Shaw Sandy, Sam Sandy, Jack Thomas, Max Thomas, Rowe Thomas and Hunter Childers.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 Brother: Jimmy Sandy.
Visitation will be held at McConnell Funeral Home on May 24, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:50 pm, followed by a Celebration Of Life at McConnell Memorial Chapel at 3:00 pm with burial to follow in Athens City Cemetery.
