Mr. George Cooper, 73, of Decatur died October 24, 2014 at Decatur Morgan Hospital, DGC. There will be a graveside service Tuesday, October 28th. at 1:30 at Burning Tree Memorial Gardens with military honors.
Mr. Cooper was born May 20, 1941 to Harden Mac and Bertha Carr Cooper who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two brothers; Donald and Albert Cooper. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Martha Cooper, one daughter; Jennifer (Chad) Earp, one son; Jamey Cooper and his friend; Camillia Jackson, four grandchildren; Ashley Warren, Corey Warren, Nickolas Jackson and Alexcia Jackson and one great grandson; Quadarius Garner.
Mr. Cooper was a proud servant of the U.S. Air Force which he served 8 years with two tours in Vietnam.
