Mildred Stratton Click, age 74 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on September 14, 1949, to the late George Franklin and Bessie Avis (Luttrell) Stratton Jr. Mildred received her RN certification from St. Thomas School of Nursing and worked in the nursing field for forty years. In 2008, she retired from Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems after twenty-eight years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting and reading. She was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church of Winchester and Eastern Star 196. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Click; and brothers, Harry Stratton and Jack Church. Mildred is survived by her loving daughters, Elizabeth (Adam) Miller of Winchester, and Stephanie (Mike) Dotson of Estill Springs; and grandchildren, Wyatt Payne and Jenna Payne. Visitation will be from 11am-2pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home.
