Funeral services for Ms. Edna “Nanny” Moore, age, 86 are scheduled for 11 AM on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens Cemetery. Ms. Moore passed away on Saturday July 7, 2018 in Jackson, TN. She was born December 29, 1931 in Sardis, TN to the late Homer and Tencie Stanfill Montgomery. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and enjoyed crocheting, playing dominos and checkers, and spending time with the elderly. She was retired from Johnson Control. Ms. Moore will be remembered as a “Nanny” to all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Moore, daughter, Betty Woods, and brothers; G.W., Willie, and Charles Montgomery. Survivors include her son, John “Strawberry” Moore, daughter, Mary (Neal) Neisler of Kadiz, KY., brother, Robert Montgomery of Lexington, sisters; Zelma Tomlinson of Walnut, MS and Jewel Powers of Lexington, 5 grandchildren; Jerry Neal Neisler (Sarah), Josh Moore (Julie), Jarrett Moore (Brittany), Jennifer (Justin) Pipkin, and Sammie Jo (Branson) Smith, 6 great grandchildren; Kellye and Tanner Neisler, Alaina and Spencer Moore, and Rylan and Decker Smith, and two great-great grandchildren, Jordyn Rae McKinney and Kayson Levi Neisler.
