Ms. Opal Phillips of Sumiton, Alabama, passed away April 28, 2024.
Ms. Phillips is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Phillips; son, Robert Earl Phillips; sister, Mavis Burrow; and brother, Hoover Roberts
Left to cherish Opal’s memory include her daughter, Barbara Mathews; grandchildren, Sarah Mathews (Seth Varney), Judith Phillips, Robert Earl Phillips and Hershel Phillips, as well as a host of extended friends and family.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at McCormack Cemetery beginning at 2:00pm.
