WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce today presented Congressman Mo Brooks (AL-05) with its Spirit of Enterprise Award for his support of pro-jobs, pro-growth policies and work during 2012.

“In the face of high-stakes politics and difficult choices, Congressman Brooks provided America’s job creators with a strong voice in Congress,” said Thomas J. Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber. “This award recognizes Congressman Brooks for consistently demonstrating his support for pro-growth policies.”

Congressman Brooks said, “I appreciate this award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for my pro-jobs, pro-growth, pro-free enterprise votes and work in 2012. The key to America’s success is a strong economy. The key to a strong economy is the free enterprise principles that made America the greatest nation in world history. I assure Tennessee Valley residents that I will continue working for free enterprise (our ticket to prosperity and a healthy economy), and against socialist policies (the path to failure), every chance I get.”
