George Ronald Bratton, Sr., 71 of Muscle Shoals, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, January 6, 2023. There will be a visitation for Ronnie Monday, January 9, 2023, from 10:00-12:00 at York Bluff Baptist Church in Sheffield. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 with Chad Holder officiating.
Ronnie was a lifelong resident of the Shoals. He was a retired pipefitter with the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local #760. He was a member of York Bluff Baptist Church in Sheffield. Ronnie loved to sing and enjoyed singing Karaoke. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtie and James Bratton and his brother, Michael Bratton.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Cathy Bratton; children, Bridgette Hood (Jay), Rhonda Bratton, Rachel Buchanan (Adam), and Ron Bratton, Jr. (Holly); brothers, Jimmy Bratton (Brenda) and Ricky Bratton (Diane); sister, Gloria J. Bratton Holden; grandchildren, Corey Hallmark, Zach Bratton, Kyle Buchanan (Evie), Kaylee Buchanan, Josie Bratton, and Brodie Bratton; great grandchildren, Addisyn Bratton and Rylan Hendrix; and several nieces and nephews.
