Charlotte Jenkins Adams, age 79, of Athens, Alabama passed away at Athens Health and Rehabilitation on Wednesday.
She was born August 18, 1944 to Woodrow and Willadean Jenkins in the   Coxey community of Limestone County.
She is survived by one daughter: Monti Swann (George) of Athens; one granddaughter: Mazie Swann of Athens; Billy Adams of Athensone sister; Faye JHogue of Decatur; and two nieces: Dana Hogue Davidson (Dane) of Decatur and Cindy Colvett Wales (Bradley) of Elkmont, numerous great niecesgreat nephews, and special friend, Sonny Patterson.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Janice Jenkins Colvett.
Mrs. Adams attended Clements High School and graduated in 1962. She worked in the banking industry all her life. She was employed by Regions Bank for 44 years, retired and decided to go back to work for Reliance/Trustmark for 10 additional years. She was involved in The Ladies Civitan Organization and also The Athens/limestone Homebuilders AssociationMrsAdams loved and cherished her family. She enjoyed travelingdancing, and socializing with friends.

Mrs. Adams will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends between 12noon until 2pm on Sunday at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
The funeral will be at 2pm Sunday following the visitation at Spry Funeral Home in Athens with burial following in Dement Cemetery oHighway 72 West, Athens, AL Bill Perkins will officiate and deliver the eulogy.
Pallbearers will be Dane Davidson, Bradley WalesBrian Patterson, Jay Beasley, Ryan Farlow and Tony Defoe.
