Orville Wright Weaver
September 11, 1930 – January 4, 2023

Orville passed away peacefully at Tut Fann Veterans Home at the age of 92. He was born to Lewis E Weaver and Lillian Delashaw Weaver, both deceased. He was never married. From 1948 to 1952 he served in Korea aboard the USS St Paul. Orville lived in Huntsville since late 1950’s. He worked for NASA for many years as a Technician dealing with scientific experiments and payloads. He was a member of the Victory Fellowship Baptist Church.

 

He is survived by two brothers, Charles E. Weaver (Dorothy) and Rayburn J. Weaver (Nell); and two sisters, Virginia Weaver Hall (Don) and Hazel Weaver Bishop (Donald). He was preceded in death by brothers, Kerman R. Weaver, Ward A. Weaver and IB Weaver.

 

A visitation will be held on January 9, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, 2320 Bob Wallace Ave, Huntsville, Alabama 35805. A graveside service will also be held on January 9, 2023, at 2:00 PM in Huntsville Memory Gardens, 6810 University Drive NW 35806.
