Peggy Louise StidhamPeggy Louise Stidham, age 88, of Russellville, died Monday, April 22, 2024. Visitation will be Monday, April 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville. The service will immediately follow in the Chapel, with Bro. Jeff Fleming. Reading the Obituary and remarks is Phillip Wiginton, Peggy’s brother.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, William Ernest Wiginton and Vera Wiginton; her siblings, Johnnie Cannon, Junior Wiginton, and Loyd Wiginton; her beloved husband of 68 1/2 years, Billy T. Stidham; and her precious granddaughter, Bethany Danielle Stidham.

She leaves to cherish her memories, sons, Danny Stidham (Patti), Kenny Stidham, and Barry Stidham, as well as a daughter, Vicki Stidham; Siblings include, Ann Harder (Jack), Debra Dixon (Mark), and Phillip Wiginton (Beverly).

Peggy is also survived by the lights of her life, her grandchildren, which include, Mandy Stidham Farris (Caley), Tyler Kitterman (Montana), Austin Kitterman, and Houston Kitterman. The joys of her life, her great grandchildren, include, Addyson Farris, Samuel Farris, and Ezra Kitterman.

Peggy lived her life for the Lord, her husband, Billy, and her family. Peggy loved being a mother, but she absolutely adored being “MaMa” to her Grands. She would simply light up a room when they would visit, call, or FaceTime.

Pallbearers will be Allan Kitterman, David Cannon, Jeff Stidham, Kevin Clement, Logan Atkins, and Bradley Tidwell. Honorary Pallbearer: Elbert “Jr.” Fisher.

Special thanks to the full staff of Helen Keller Hospital, especially the PCU unit. Care Givers: Renae Cochran and Denise Ergle. Also, thanks to J.W. Sommer Rehab, Mitchell Hollingsworth Rehab, and Cottage of Shoals Rehab. Thanks to all of them for the love and care that was given to our dear Mother.
