Charles Alexander  Garza Charles Alexander Garza, 6, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Gilmore in Amory. He was born in Fairhope, AL on December 5, 2014. Charles was the son of Justin and Alicia Jenkins Garza. He had just finished kindergarten at West Amory Elementary School and was a whiz at Roblox game. Charles had an infectious personality and could light up the room. He was a normal 6-year-old who loved to play and pick on his sisters. Charles loved the fire service and would often go to the fire station with his dad and play on the fire trucks and the ambulances. The other firemen loved him like their own nephew, and he was a great big brother to Matthew.

His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Justin Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in the Haughton Memorial Park.

His is survived by his parents, Justin and Alicia Garza of Amory; sisters, Layna Staten, Ryleigh, and Haylee Garza; one brother, Matthew Garza; grandparents, Janice Garza of Amory, Ron and Barbara Jenkins of Daphne, AL; great grandmother Cora Reese and Helen Ream; uncle, Tony Garza of Amory, Timothy Garza (Cassandra) of Amory, Ron Bennett (Karen) of Bay Minette, AL; aunt, Laura Garza (Billy Morris) of Amory and Shelley Nichols (Jarod) of Florida; a host of great aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a special friend, Wyatt Stanford.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Jr. Garza; great grandfather, Dick Reese and Frank Ream; and uncle, Johnathan Bennett.

Pallbearers will be the Amory Fire Department.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
