SHEFFIELD – The annual Christmas Parade was a big success due to beautiful and festive floats, The Sheffield High School Marching Band, a cavalcade of City Leaders, and the much anticipated appearance of Santa Claus. Even more satisfying was the fact that there was a large turnout of spectators who forsaked the 2nd-half of the SEC Championship football game to see the event. (No doubt a testament to 4G smartphones with television, and TiVo-like DVR’s.) Roll Tide.
The Quad-Cities Daily was there to photograph the parade. And we present them here.
