Jesse Ray Courington, age 82, Haleyville, Alabama passed away November 7, 2019. He was retired from NTN-Bower and was a member of First Baptist Church Haleyville. He loved working on his farm, spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids and enjoyed watching & going to see Auburn football and Atlanta Braves.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with his granddaughter Shae Adkins speaking and Bro. Shawn Blanton officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.

Mr. Courington is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Jo Bagwell Courington; children, Carol (Stan) Bryan and Tim Courington; grandchildren, Brandi (Jamie) Davis, Shae (Kevin) Adkins and Clay (Courtney) Bryan; great grandchildren, Alandis McDaniel, Adalyn Bryan and Jack Bryan; a host of nieces, nephews and special friends Roger and Frances Wakefield.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vester and Annie Courington; great grandchild, Ava Claire Bryan; sisters and brothers, Gay Roberts, Erma Bevis, Pernie Courington, Ester Mae Tucker, Flossie Courington, Lester, Willie, Hughes, Bobby Joe Courington and Travis Courington.
