Yolanda Marie “Yo” Boland, 64, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. Yolanda was born in Amory, Mississippi, to Marie and Charley Roberson. A lifelong resident of Nettleton, MS, she worked at PeopleLounger’s for years until their closing, then she showed out in the kitchen of Mike’s QuickStop as their morning cook. Yolanda made friends with everyone she came across, and you could always find her cutting up and up to date on the latest gossip. She loved anything western and horses. Her biggest achievements in life were her children. Nothing made her prouder than her three kids, Chris, Lynn, and Bridgett and all of her grandchildren.
Yolanda is survived by her children, Chris Roberson of Aberdeen, Lynn and Nate Hyde of Burnsville, and Bridgett and Nathan Brown of Iuka; her sister, Liz of Columbus; 7 grandchildren, Kelsea and Karlee Roberson, the late Kyler Roberson, Ariana Betts, Harbor Haven Hyde, Kolter Brown, and Kayden Brown; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Kyler Roberson; her parents, Marie and Charley Roberson; and her brother, Terry Roberson.
