Wilson “Will” Jeffrey Gunnin, 16 of Houston, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 29, 2016.
Will was born on May 19, 2000 in Decatur. He was a sophomore at Addison High School and attended Houston Baptist Church for his entire life. Will was active in high school sports, including defensive tackle and nose guard on the football team, third baseman on the baseball team, skeet team and Bulldog Bass Fishers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing ball.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 4-8pm at Houston Baptist Church, where services will be held on Friday at 2pm. Burial will be Houston Community Cemetery. Brother Donnie Carroll and Brother Kenny Sudduth will officiate.
Will is survived by his parents, Jeff and Donna Gunnin; paternal grandmother, Joanne Gunnin; maternal grandmother, Vera Wilson; aunt and uncle, Pam and Roger Willingham; aunt, Kim Shevlin; first cousins, Wes Willingham, Jessy (Bryan) Woods; Paige (Hunter) Shevlin, and Gwen (Andrew) Hodges.
He was preceded in death by his paternal granddad, E.K. Gunnin, and maternal granddad, Donald Wilson.
