Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Tillman Hampton, age 94, are scheduled for 1 PM, Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Campground Cemetery. Mrs. Hampton passed away on Sunday at her home in Decaturville. She was born October 23, 1926 in Decatur County to the late Joe S. and Mary Moore Tillman. She was retired from Salant & Salant after 37 years. She enjoyed cooking, canning, and fellowshipping with family and friends. Mrs. Hampton was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Martin Wade Hampton, Jr.; an infant son, Jimmy Hampton; her daughter, Joan Presley; two brothers, Edward and Johnny Tillman; and two sisters, Faye Reed and Kathleen Hayes. Survivors include her son, Joe Hampton (Cathie); her son-in-law, Gerald Presley; her brother, Jerry Tillman (Jeanette); five grandchildren, Brent Presley (Jamie), Holly Nigh (Brett), Christie Wilkins (Ray), Tara Morris (Kip), and Eric Hampton (Rachel); sixteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
