Wilma Jean Kyser Zielke, age 89 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at NHC of Tullahoma. She was born on March 8, 1931 in Lansing, Michigan to the late William and Ida Mae (Bellman) Kyser. Jean graduated from Dansville High School, Class of 1948. After graduation, she became a housewife and worked part-time. Jean earned her pilot certificate at the age of 50 and was a member of the 99’ers Flying Club at Memphis, Tennessee. She enjoyed the time spent flying, but most of all she cherished the time spent taking care and traveling with the grandchildren during the summer. In addition to her parents, Wilma Jean was preceded in death by her three sisters, Lenora, Evelyn, and Nancy; brother, Herbert; son, Alan; stepson, James; and step-daughter, Diane. She is survived by her husband, John Zielke; children, Douglas Wheeler of Murfreesboro, Mike (Susan) Wheeler of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Richard Wheeler of Springfield, Missouri, and Debra (David) Wheeler of Arkansas; grandchildren, Benjamin, Samuel, Logan, Melissa, Amy, Megan, Erica, Jason, Adrienne, and Nicole; and nine great-grandchildren.
