Wilma Hawkins, 89, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Wilma had an amazingly happy outlook. She was concerned about others, always offering something to eat. She had an adventurous spirit and loved the outdoors, the woods, fishing, travel, and food. More importantly she loved our Creator, Jehovah God. She spent many hours telling others about her Heavenly Father and the hope she held dear of the resurrection and everlasting life on earth. She will truly be missed.
Wilma is survived by her son, Michael Hawkins (Selina), her daughter, Deborah Johnson (David), her 4 grandchildren, Brett, Christopher, Kara, and Tyler, her 5 great-grandchildren, her 5 great great-grandchildren, her brother, Calvin Graham (Molly), and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hawkins, her parents, Oril and Pearlie Ramsey Graham, and her siblings, Billy, JT, and Mary.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 2:15PM at the Kingdon Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 112 Old Airport Rd, Pontotoc, MS 38863 with the Memorial Service beginning at 3PM. Bro. Richard Farmer will officiate. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
