A Celebration of Life for Wilma Allene Snoddy, age 75, of Decatur, will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 at the home of Joe and Allene Snoddy, 810 Island Way, in Decatur, AL. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mrs. Snoddy, who died Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital, was born September 1, 1939, in Rogersville, to Allen Goode and Elease Benefield Goode. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Lynn Snoddy, and her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Joe N. Snoddy of Decatur; one daughter, Lee Ann Nelson of Tanner; and two grandchildren, Coty and Zachary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart Center in Huntsville, AL.
