Service for Willis Aubry Curbow, age 83, of Decatur, will be Sunday, September 25, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Wendell Bennett officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Curbow, who died Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Parkway DMS, was born September 17, 1933, in Morgan County, to Auby and Martha Crow Curbow.
He was previously employed as a Tool & Die Supervisor at Prestolite, Onan and Advanced Mfg.
Mr. Curbow is preceded in death by his first wife Mildred Miller Curbow and brother in law Loyal Terry.
He is survived by his wife Eva White Curbow, two daughters, Chris Curbow and Kim Whited (Danny) both of Decatur, stepson Wayne White (Dottie) of Decatur, grandchildren, Kristen Whited, Ellainn Harris (Steven) and David White ( Brandie) and two great grandchildren, Jonathan White and Emilee White, one brother Donald Curbow (Willene) of Falkville, and sister Gail Terry of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Adult V Sunday School Class at Flint Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Flint Baptist Church Building Fund.
