Willie Lee Butler, Jr., age 81, of Leoma, TN passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, owner of Butler’s Garage & Body Shop, and of the Christian Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Lee Butler, Sr., and Viola Hammonds Butler; and one sister, Pam Hodges.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Janice Williams Butler of Leoma, TN; three daughters, Holly Butler (Stephen) of Oak Ridge, TN, Sharon Butler of Unionville, TN, and Sheila Payne (Dale) of Kodak, TN; one brother, Jim Butler (Joy) of Leoma, TN; one sister, Melba Brown (Donnie) of Leoma, TN; four grandchildren, Steven Wray, Staci Wray, Kendra Wear, and Adeleine Williams; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Those serving as pallbearers are David Butler, Rodney Butler, Michael Hodges, Jason Williams, Josh Wear, and Mico Posey.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, July 01, 2024, with Sylvester Gilbert and Glenn Sharpton officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Leoma, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
