Willie Florence Bright – Obituary

Mrs. Willie Florence Bright, age 89, of Arab, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Bright was born on August 5, 1928 in Marshall County to Early Wade Cox & Ruby Inez Brown Cox. Mrs. Bright lived in Birmingham for a brief period but has resided back in Arab the last 46 years. She was married to the late Jud Bright Jr. who passed on July 9, 2001. She enjoyed yard work, sewing, watching the Atlanta Braves & the University of Alabama Football and visiting with friends & family.
She was a member of North Parkway Church of Christ.
Mrs. Bright is survived by her daughters & son-in-laws, Charlotte & Dan Burgett and Kathy & Erwin Traylor; brother, Tony & Judy Cox; grandchildren, Dawnn Burgett, Misty Harris, Jonathan Traylor; step-grandsons, Matthew Traylor & Connor Harris, great grandchildren, Maegen Harris and Jacob Niewiadomski.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with David Cox & Tony Cox, officiating. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Dan Burgett, Jonathan Traylor, Matthew Traylor, Woodie McCormack, Sonny Jones.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
