Mr. Pettus was a native of Lauderdale County, AL, a carpenter, served in the Army Reserves, and a member of Green’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include: Wife- Marcelle Mashburn Pettus of Lexington, AL; 1 Daughter- Gwen Pettus Alsup & husband Allen of Lexington, AL; 2 Sisters- Neva Davis of Centerhill, AL; Betty Landtroop of St. Joseph, TN; 3 Grandchildren- Joseph Alsup, Kayla Alsup Stutts, and Tara Alsup Pearson. The funeral service will be officiated by Coy Hallmark & T.R. Williams. Burial to follow in Pettus Cemetery.
