Bernice “Polly” West, 82, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born May 27, 1931 to the late C.E. “Son” Webb and the late Verna Mae Edwards Webb in Itawamba County. She was a member of Dorsey Baptist Church. She enjoyed walking, gardening, working with her flowers, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her 3 Daughters, Christie (Billy) Harmon of Mantachie, Pat (Jeph) Heflin of Pelatachie, MS, Donna Jones of Caledonia, MS, 6 Granddaughters, Stephanie (Joe) Elliott of Millport, AL, Julie Jones of Millport, AL, Mary Lester of Keokuk, IA, Casry Heflin of Pelatachie, MS, Brittney (Josh) Chambers of Mantachie, Summer Crawley of Mantachie, 2 Grandsons, Josh Roberts of Dorsey, Collel Roberts of Mantachie, 15 Great Grandchildren, 2 Sisters, Marcell Thomas of Mantachie, Louise Shackleford of Sulligent, AL, 2 Special Friends, DeeDee Grubbs of Mantachie, and Samantha Winfield of Pontotoc.
She was preceded in death by her Father, C.E. “Son” Webb, Mother, Verna Mae Webb, Son, James D. Shedd, Daughter, Brenda Sue Shedd, 2 Brothers, J.W. Webb, Paul Ray Webb, Grandson, Jesse M. Roberts, her children’s father, Lester Shedd.
Pallbearers will be Josh Roberts, Josh Chambers, Jamie Thomas, David Thomas, Billy Harmon, Michael Shackleford, Joe Elliott.
