William Sebastian “Storm” Horton, age 29 of Decherd, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at his residence. A native of Franklin County, he was born on February 11, 1993, in Winchester. Growing up, he did well in school, making straight A’s and was artistic with a free-loving spirit. Storm worked as an apprentice electrician. He enjoyed cheering for the Tennessee Titans and attending music festivals. He was a member of Decherd Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where he was enjoyed the opportunity to help others through church projects. His family will remember his loving and kind nature…Storm was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny and Effie Wimley, and Bill Horton. Storm is survived by his father, Quentin (Amanda) Horton of Decherd; mother, Cindi Garner of Estill Springs; stepfather, Jerry Garner of Huntland; sister, Serenity Garner of Winchester; grandmother, Cathy Horton of Estill Springs; and fur-baby, Sheva “Shebie.” Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 29, 2022, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Garner Cemetery.
