A Life Remembered

Raman was a man who never met a stranger. His heart was open, his kindness unmistakable, and his presence unforgettable. Even in the biggest cities, his warmth stood out. He cared deeply — sometimes so much that I’d have to remind him to be careful with how openly he loved people. But that was who he was. He wanted everyone around him to feel seen, safe, and lifted.

A Heart for Others

Helping others wasn’t something Raman did — it was who he was. He showed up for friends without hesitation. He brought laughter into heavy rooms, offering comic relief when someone was hurting. He understood sadness intimately, and because of that, he carried compassion for anyone walking through their own darkness. Raman lived with mental illness, and he recognized that struggle in others. He never judged. He understood.

A Devoted Father and Family Man

Family was everything to Raman. His children were the center of his world, the reason behind every sacrifice and every dream. He wanted to give them the life he believed they deserved. He wanted to be the kind of father he admired — strong, loving, present. Even when life was hard, he stayed connected. No matter where I was, he always kept in touch. When Raman felt called to do something for family, he did it without hesitation.

A Brilliant Mind

Raman was incredibly smart — endlessly curious, always learning. He absorbed knowledge like air. History, mechanics, guns, motorcycles… he knew it all. If you walked into his home, you’d probably find a documentary playing about war, life, or the world. We are a product of Vietnam, and he carried that history with him, always trying to understand more.

His Journey and His Peace

Raman found spirituality later in life. He saw the beauty and the darkness in the world, and sometimes the darkness weighed heavily on him. But now, he is finally at peace. The voices are quiet. The pain is gone.

He wanted acceptance. He wanted love. And the truth is — he had it. More than he ever realized.

Forever Loved

Raman leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, loyalty, and deep love. He touched more lives than he ever knew. He will be remembered not for the struggles he carried, but for the light he gave.

May he rest in peace, finally free.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Logan Schors, Hannah Schors, Chelse Monarch, mother Rugayah Wicar, wife Tyler Schors, sister Natasha Schors, brother, Thomas Schors, long time partner Kimberly Clem, nephews Mitch Schors, Nicholas Hale, niece Elliot Schors.
