Funeral service for William Pierce “Bill” Owens, Sr., 78, will be Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 12:00 PM at First Methodist Church of Falkville with Bro. Bobby Ray Halbrooks and Bro. Phillip Gilbert officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Falkville First Methodist Church.
Mr. Owens died on Monday, October 24, 2022 at his residence. He was born September 30, 1944, in Lucas County, Ohio, to James Malcolm Owens and Lilly Kelly Owens.
He was employed by Wolverine Tube in the Purchasing and Scheduling Department, prior to his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren: Zachary Owens and Nathan Roberts and a sister: Juanita Gray.
