Funeral service for Charles Wayne “Jimmy” McCaghren, 78, will be Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Ledbetter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Enon Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. McCaghren died on Monday, October 24, 2022 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born January 11, 1944, in Morgan County, to Elmer Cecil McCaghren and Audie Mae McDonald McCaghren.
He was employed by Aramark as a truck driver, prior to his retirement. He loved Alabama football, fishing and gardening. He was a musician, who could play almost any instrument and loved gospel and country music.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers: Billy Joe and Bobby Ray McCaghren.
