William Paul MorrisWilliam Paul Morris of Prospect, Tennessee passed away on Friday, December 1st, 2023 at NHC Pulaski. He was born in Giles County, Tennessee on May 9th, 1937 and was 86 years old.

Paul was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pulaski. He was retired From Maramont Gabriel. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. His passion was gardening in which he took great pride in. Paul stayed active. He loved to take walks and work outdoors. He was a lover of all animals especially his dog Brynn.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 4th, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023 at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Tony Gomillion and Rodney Hawkins officiating.
The burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens.

The family request memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church c/o 407 South First Street Pulaski, TN 38478.

Paul was preceded in death by, his parents, Thomas Jeferson and Gladys Mayella Holt Morris. His wife Margaret Daniel Morris. Grandsons, Briar Morris and Tyler Farris. Brother Thomas Franklin Morris and Sister Ruby Storey.

He is survived by,
Son, Jeff (Sheila) Morris of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Son, Greg (Carol) Morris of Lexington, Alabama.
Son, Barry (Tina) Morris of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Daughter, Jennifer (Greg) Slayton of Prospect, Tennessee.
Brother, Charles (Helen) Morris of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Brother, Chester (Linda) Morris of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Sister, Lena Faye Morris of Pulaski, Tennessee.
9 Grandchildren, 12 Great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews also survive.

The family would like to thank the staff at NHC Pulaski for providing extraordinary care over the last year.
