William Marcus Tuck, 94, of Harvest passed away in his home on February 14, 2017. He was a 5th generation resident of Madison County and lived his entire life in the Harvest community. He was born on December 12, 1922 to William David Tuck and Bernice Lee Bridges Tuck. He is survived by children William Marcus Tuck, Jr of Alexandria, VA, John David Tuck of Harvest, and Nova Elizabeth Tuck Whatley of Lawrenceville, GA, sisters Grace Margaret Hill of Huntsville and Laura Jean Clutts of Huntsville, 13 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death his wife of more than 74 years, Dora Cain Apperson Tuck, and brother Charles Alvin Tuck. Marcus was a World War II veteran having served in the 10th Armored Division in Europe. Visitation will be 1-2:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Ford’s Chapel Methodist Church, Harvest, Alabama followed by the funeral with Rev. Calvin Havens officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons Gary Tuck, Bill Tuck, John Tuck, Robert Whatley, Richard Tuck, David Tuck and Andrew Tuck.
