Houston Ray McDougal, age 66 of Tuscumbia, died Monday, February 13, 2017. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Thursday, 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Seth Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Davis-Huff Cemetery.
Mr. McDougal was a lifelong resident of Colbert County and was a member of Little Bear Creek Church.
Survivors include his wife of forty-four years; Shirley McDougal son; James McDougal, daughters; Sheila Scott (Shannon), Donna Barnett (George), Kathy Vaughn (Kirk), brother; Roy McDougal, sisters; Johnnie Powers, Faye Burnett and five grandsons.
Pallbearers are Shannon Scott, George Barnett, Anthony Isbell, Chris McDougal, EJ Lindbloom, Kirk Vaughn, JR McDougal and Justin Lindbloom.
Honorary pallbearers are Joseph Barnett and Kenzie Barnett.
