William Kenneth Kelly born December 21, 1945, died peacefully at home February 1, 2025. He loved his family. He was taught to work at a young age milking cows, picking cotton, farming, driving the school bus, building cabinets and making beautiful furniture. He loved school and playing all sports. After he graduated high school he married a high school sweetheart Pat Saint. They had three sons: William Timothy, Philip Andrew and James Matthew. They divorced in 1977. Ken met another high school sweetheart Elizabeth Ann Smith. They married in 1982. Ken started remodeling houses. Later he built houses, worked for Top of Al Regional Housing Authority. Ken and Ann had two children Leann Renae and Michael Kenneth. They moved in 2006 to Montgomery. Ken went to work for Hollahand Construction until 2009. They moved to Toney Al in 2017 when he retired. Ken and Ann were married for forty-two years.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Kelly; mother, Katherine Kelly; brothers, Paul & Don Kelly; and two sons, Tim and Michael Kelly.
Surviving are wife, Ann Kelly; sons, Philip and Matt Kelly; daughter, Leann Renae; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Kelly (Susan) and beloved cousins and friends.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Jennings Chapel Church of Christ and Gentiva Hospice for all their help and support during Ken’s time of need.
Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday at 2:00 PM with Bro. Tadd Corder officiating. Pallbearers will be Adam Kelly, George Kelly, John Kelly, Woody Webster, Brian Blackwell, and Andrew Preston.
Interment will be in Hampton Cove Cemetery.
