William John Francis, age 37, of Decatur died March 4, 2026 at his home. He was born September 30, 1988 in Athens. Memorial service to be announced at a later date.

I love you, Will. You were one of the best people I knew and you touched the lives of so many people, more than you will ever know. I have your picture as my lock screen so I can see you smile. The fact that I will never hear your voice again makes me distraught. ( But I was gifted a voice note ) I will carry on your memory and legacy with me until my dying day as will many others, so you will never truly die. You took a piece e of me with you when you left and so I will never be far. Will. Rest now and know piece.
