William Jason Sutton – Obituary

williamWilliam Jason Sutton, 41, of Leighton, Alabama, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, Alabama. He was born Oct. 15, 1973, in Florence, Alabama. He was employed by T & B Mobile Homes as an equipment operator.

He is survived by daughter, Makayla Sutton, and her mother, Narissa Alexander, Moulton, Alabama; father, Truman Sutton (Fredia), Leighton, Alabama; mother, Janette Griffus Sutton, Florence, Alabama; brothers, Brian Sutton (Renee), Cleveland, Tennessee, and Blake Sutton, Leighton, Alabama; niece, Tayler Sutton, Cleveland, Tennessee; and nephew, Will Sutton, Cleveland, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Paul and Beatrice Holland Sutton and William and Ruby Emerson Griffus.

Jason was a member of the Cowboy Church of Colbert. He attended Hatton High School.

Visitation will be today, 6-8 p.m., at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at the Cowboy Church of Colbert County. Jason’s body will be placed in the church Sunday, Jan. 11, 1-2 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Truman Sutton (Jason’s father), Brian Sutton (Jason’s brother), and Brother Neal Wright will officiate. Interment will be in Moulton Memory Garden.

Pallbearers will be cousins and friends.
