Mike Garnett Funeral service for Mike Garnett, 71, will be Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Ashley and Bro. Steve Ledbetter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 11, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 11:00am until service time at Peck Funeral Home.

Mike passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 at Madison Hospital. He was born May 7, 1953, in Morgan County, to John Henry Garnett and Stella Mae “Jackie” Boger Stiles.

Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was a good, Godly man, that was kindhearted and selfless. He was a life-time member of Lebanon Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, and ran the sound room. He loved the Lord and loved people as well.

Mike enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing, watching his grandkids play ball and tailgating at Auburn. He never said “goodbye” ; it was always “Later !”

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother: Larry Garnett.

Survivors include

Wife – Lanett Garnett,

Sons – Dusty Garnett (Keightley) and
Marty Garnett (Emily)

Daughter – Lacy Garnett Johnson

Brother – Chris Garnett (Amy)

Sisters – Tammy Garnett Moss and
Beth Self (Jason)

Seven Grandchildren – Libby, Annie, Charlie, Hope, Maggie, and Mabry Garnett, and Camden Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Ferris McCleskey, John McCleskey, Doug Stephenson, Terry Pyle, Brian McGlothin, Jimmy Aycock, Bill Dobbs and Brent Breedlove.
