Funeral service for William Irvin (Buddy) Garner, 86, of Orlando, Florida will be Tuesday January 19, 2016 at 1:00PM at Roundtop Church with Rev. Henry Shellman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday January 18, 2016 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Peck Funeral Home. Burial will be at Roundtop Cemetery.

Mr. Garner was born November 7, 1929 in Blount County to William Irvin Garner, Sr. and Flora Ozell Burns Garner. He died January 15, 2016 at his residence in Florida. Mr. William Irvin (Buddy) Garner, Jr. was a man that loved his family. He worked 37 years with the BellSouth Company and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was an avid lover of the water and loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He believed anything you sought out to do; you should do it with all you got and to the best of your ability. He will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him and remembered each and every day. Mr. Garner was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary F. Garner; one son, Steve Garner; a sister, Martha Garner McCaig and brother-in-law Harold McCaig.

Pallbearers will be Mike Garner, David Garner, Chris Garner, Greg McCaig, Mike Rinesmith and Robbie Rinesmith.
