William Herbert McDonald, 73, of Florence passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at Shoals Hospital. He was a graduate of Coffee High School in 1958, served in the United States Navy from 1959 – 1963. An avid golfer, he was a member of Florence Golf & Country Club for many years.
William was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Leigh McDonald. He is survived by his children, Kerry Wayne McDonald of Knoxville, TN and Kimberly Renee Copeland (David) of Toney, AL; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Shoals Hospital very much for their care during Mr. McDonald’s illness.
There will be no service at the request of William Herbert McDonald.
Rogersville Funeral Home is assisting the family.
