William Eugene Cox of Giles County, passed away on Friday, November 24th, 2023 at NHC Brink in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. He was born in Lawrence County, Tennessee on January 18th, 1952 and was 71 years old.
William was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed farming, going fishing, and dove hunting with his brothers and friends. He also loved driving the school bus, but above all, he loved spending time with his family.
The visitation will be Monday, November 27th, 2023, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, November 28th, 2023 at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens.
William was preceded in death by his parents, John Cecil and Viola Abernathy Cox and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by,
His wife, Shirley Cox of Lynnville, Tennessee.
Daughter, Tabetha Reynolds (Derome) of Pulaski, TN
Son, Darrel (Diane) Cox of Pulaski, TN
Grandchildren, Edward, Sean, Taliyah, DePrece, and Cody.
Sister, Julia Shrader of Pulaski, TN
Brother, Johnny (Brenda) Cox of Columbia, TN
3 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
