Memorial service for William E. Penn, 87, will be Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Ray Halbrooks and Glenn Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Penn died on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born October 8, 1930 in Morgan County to Marvin H. Penn and Nellie Grace Rogers Penn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a crane operator for Wolverine Tube prior to his retirement. Mr. Penn was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Willard and Ronnie Penn.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Penn; son, Chris Penn; and brother, Rev. J.Wayne Penn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley or The Good Samaritan fund at First United Methodist Church of Hartselle.
