William ‘Bill’ Ardis, 88, of Huntsville, passed away Monday. Mr. Ardis, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, retired as Lieutenant with the Alabama State Troopers. He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church and the Masons.
Survivors include daughter, Debbie Ardis Gaines (Robert) of Huntsville; nephews, Tommy Wilbourn (Debbie) and Mike Bingham (Paula); one great-niece; three great-nephews; three great-great-nieces; and sister-in-law, Helen Bingham.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Pastor Mike Lightfoot officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
