William (Bill) Alton Perry, 68, passed away May 3, 2016.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence and Margaret Perry. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife and best friend of 47 years, Linda. He also is survived by his daughter, Holly Perry Boyd; son-in-law, John Boyd; and two beautiful grandchildren, Sharon and Sean; also his brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence and Sandra Perry, Florence, David Perry, Forest, Mississippi, Steve and Connie Perry, Florence, Roger Perry, Allen, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was born in Florence, Alabama, and lived there until he was married in 1969 and then joined the military. He was honorably discharged as a Disabled Veteran after 18 years of service.
Bill never met a stranger and was loved by many. He was a very special and good man, is irreplaceable and will be forever missed.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held in Florence, Alabama, sometime in June.
