William Ambers Green, 82, of Lexington, AL, passed away January 2, 2018. Mr. Green was retired from Rudy Farms as a meat cutter and was of the Christian faith.

Mr. Green is survived by:

Wife: Elizabeth Ann Nolen Green

Sons: Clayton Green (Robbie), William Green, Mark Green, and son-in-law Warren Waldrep (spouse of Janice Waldrep)

Daughters: Kay Aday (Calvin), Marie Roberts, Nancy Proctor (Donald), Melessia Puckett (Kenneth), Nicole Anglin (Shaun), Bridgett Marcus Davis, and Charlotte Richardson (Brian)

Brothers: Hassell Green, Hershel Green, Terry Green, Bobby (Leon) Green, and Wayne Green

Sisters: Elizabeth Davis and Shellie Thigpen

(21) Grandchildren and (24) Great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by:

Late spouse: Nettie Williams Green

Granddaughter: Ashley Waldrep

Daughter: Janice Waldrep

Grandson: Jonathan Green

Parents: Luther & Myrtle Green

Brother: Auther Green

Sister: Dora Matthews

Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Pettus Cemetery. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
