William A. Vandiver Sr., 74, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018. His visitation will be today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Bobby Rich officiating. Burial will be in Polar Creek Cemetery.
He was a native of Colbert County and an Army veteran. William was a retired business owner and a member of New LaGrange Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bluit Lavert Vandiver and Lettie Ayers Bolton, and brother, Billy Wayne Vandiver Sr.
William is survived by his sons, William Arnold Vandiver Jr. and Bobby Wayne Vandiver; brother, Bobby Gene Vandiver; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Justin Vandiver, Carl Vandiver, Dennis Logan, Bobby Vandiver, Willo Vandiver, and Bill Vandiver. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Collins and Ronald Grissom.
