Danny Joe Jeffreys, 63, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018. His visitation will be today from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Brother Bobby Rich and Brother Phillip Potter officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Creek Missionary Cemetery.Danny was a native of Colbert County. He was preceded in death by his father, Grant Jeffreys Jr.; grandparents, Tom and Libby Logan and Grant and Ollie Jeffreys; infant brother, Thomas Grant Jeffreys; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Sue Logan Jeffreys; daughter, Courtney Jeffreys; brothers, Steve Jeffreys and Ronald Jeffreys (Felicia); sister, Kathie Luallen; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Jeffreys, Brandon Conner, James R. Logan, Jimmy Looney, and Tyson and Grant Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Johnson, Alvin Looney, Jerry Logan, and Joe Vandiver.
The family expresses special thanks to the Helen Keller fourth floor doctors, nurses and hospice. Also a special thanks to the Shoals Cancer Center, Helen Keller Infusion Center, Helen Keller Home Health, and Helen Keller volunteers.
