Willard Lewis T. McDonald, Jr. was born on July 1, 1968, in Jackson, Tennessee, to Julia Beard and Willard McDonald, Sr. He entered into the arms of his Savior on the evening of November 16, 2022. He was reared and attended school in Jackson, Tennessee.
He met the “Love of his Life” Tajika Dixon in 2012. Willard and Tajika were an inseparable unit until God called him home as she was right by his side.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Willard. He loved spending time with his family and making memories. Willard enjoyed taking trips with his family to various locations and just enjoying each day God allowed him on this Earth. Willard was one of the biggest Dallas Cowboy fans and enjoyed watching the game with his family each week as he cheered them on, win or lose.
Willard built a successful home improvement business in Broward County Florida. He loved remodeling homes and he was really good at what he did. A lot of the skills he taught himself and he loved to share his talents with others. Willard never met a stranger and always preached the word of God to everyone he came in contact with. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Willard was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Willis McDonald (his twin brother), Tracy Walquer, Jimmie Beard, Jr., and Greg Robinson; and his sister, Charlene Baker.
He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his precious memories: his wife, Tajika Dixon-McDonald; sons, Ethan McDonald, Willie Beachem, and Willard McDonald III; daughters, Irish McDonald, A’merah Thomas, and Ty’Layuh Baker; grandson, Chance; goddaughter, Jayla Wallace; sisters, Sadie Kyles, Elaine Buchanan, Frankie Beard, Brenda Beard, Deborah Beard, Wanda Scales, Darlene Calhoun, and Shirley Robinson; brothers, Jerry McNeal and Dennis Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
