Whittney Marie Barrentine, age 38 of Oakman, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Monday, February 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Odom Memorial Cemetery. T.J. Armstrong will officiate.
Mrs. Barrentine was preceded in death by her Grandad-J.E. Jack Stacks; Grandparents-Ervin Courington and Willie Mae, H. L. and Mary Couch; Uncle-Peanut “James” Little; Mother-in-law-Jeanette Barrentine; Father-in-law-James Barrentine; Godparents-Greg and Patt Earnest.
She is survived by her Husband-James Ronnie Barrentine; Mother-Tina Martin; Father-Lary Courington; Daughters-Kortlynn Barrentine, Brooklynn Barrentine, Ana Kate Barrentine and Felisha Prosser; Son-Cooper Barrentine; Brothers-Jacob Couch, Jarett Martin, Austin Couch and Hunter Couch; Grandmother-Myra Key Stacks; Grandchildren-Riley, Charley and Cody.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Couch, Austin Couch, Hunter Couch, Jarett Martin, Lary Courington, Steve Couch, Chris Earnest and Bill Prosser.
