Miss. Whitney Paige Dunavant, 26, passed to her heavenly home on Friday December 29 at her home in Scotts Hill surrounded by her devoted parents, family, and caregivers.
Whitney faced many physical challenges during her life, but she was a shining star to her family and was a living example of pure love and joy. Although she will be missed, it will always be a comfort to her family that she is now perfect in every way and is at home in Heaven.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Jason, and Aunda Swindle Dunavant, sister Lacie and brother Lee Dunavant. Her paternal grandparents are Ronny and Barbara Dunavant, Aunt Deanna Dunavant, Uncle Adam (Dana) Dunavant. Her paternal Great Grandparents: the late Lavelle and Charles Laster and the late Gordan and Melba Tillman all of Scotts Hill and Decaturville, TN. Whiteny’s maternal grandparents were the late Sue Hensley, Kenneth Hensley, the late Mike Johnson, and Audrey and Kenny Boyd. Maternal Great Grandparents, Rachel Smith, James Swindle and the late Jewel Maness of Lexington, TN. Whitney also leaves her Aunt Misty Crowe (Tim), Uncle Shae (Samantha) Hensley, Uncle and Aunts: Richarde Johnson, Sissy Lowery, and Sarah Johnson along with a host of Great Aunts, Uncles, and cousins and three special nurses: Toni Willis, Katie Williams and Courtney Baker.
The family will receive friends on Saturday December 30, 2023 at Pafford Scotts Hill from 11AM until 9PM and on Sunday December 31, 2023 from 10 AM until the time of service. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Sunday December 31, 2023 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts with interment following at Scott’s Hill Methodist Cemetery.
