Sonya Kay Blansit. 57 of Athens, Alabama, died Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Madison Hospital.
Mrs. Blansit was born April 11, 1967 in Newark, Ohio, she was a member of Capshaw Baptist Church and attended Lindsay Lane Baptist.
Services will be 11am Saturday at First Baptist Church Chapel, burial in Thatch & Mann Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday 10am until service at First Baptist Church. Spry Funeral Home in Athens is directing.
Survivors: Husband, Ron Blansit of Athens. Parents, Judd & Jan Delancey of Clermont, FL. Sons, Zachary (Kaitlyn) Blansit of Chambersburg, PA. Michael Blansit of Harvest and Jacob Blansit of Harvest. Daughter, Michelle (Trey) Grantham of Athens. Sister, Tonya Globlek of Alexandria, Ohio. Brother, Judd Delancey III of Commerce Township, Michigan. Grandchildren, Millie Grantham, Peyton Blansit, Parker Blansit and Logan Blansit. Several Nieces and Nephews.
